Things change

Posted By on March 27, 2008

Plans changed and I’m back at school now, even though the students are gone. It’s really more of a long, boring story than I want to go into, so I won’t.

The upside is that we may actually be able to sort through all our lectures next week and get the academic secretary, Esther, started on them. I can practically taste the digitization.

I had a lovely Easter with a few PCVs in Blantyre, and then on Tuesday night had dinner with a few more PCVs and MUSEAA (Malawi-U.S. Exchange Alumni Association), where we met several very interesting people. The chair is a professor at Kamuzu College of Nursing, from which one of my favorite nursing students comes (damn, I’ve got to text her and see what she’s up to). Us PCVs caused trouble and volunteered one member for all kinds of duties, including Vice-chair. That was fun.
