Student Definitions:

• Cerebral anaemia: this is when there is lack of blood in the blood
• Cerebral spasms: shaking of a patient due to muscle spasms

Students on trauma:

• Remove all the tight clothing to ensure free circulation
• They should avoid bystanders to make the casualties excited. They should be chased away.
• Then since the casualty is unconscious, you can provide mouth to mouth respiration.
• Conduct mouth to mouth circulation so that easy is being introduced into the mouth of the casualty.
• If possible take a cloth or something which is hard and put it in the mouth of the patient to prevent from biting his own tongue but you should be careful because he may bite you.

Students on loss of consciousness:

• When a person is suffering from diarrhea he/she becomes dehydrated and the skin develops poor turgor and the result is that the person becomes unconscious.
• Psychological disturbance: this happen when you are mentally confused for example failing examination.
• Introduction of strange things in the body for example the introduction of enema in a rectum makes someone to be unconscious.

Students on Cirrhosis:

• The patient should stop taking alcohol. The patient not smoke because the more he smokes or drinks alcohol the more the disease increases and it can be healed because one of the predisposing factors is alcohol. And also he should not have multiple sexual partners as this can make him to have immunesuppression disease since sometimes when you are drunk you can sleep with many people unknowingly or under the influence of alcohol.
• The patient should stop completely drinking alcohol to prevent liver damage. The patient should use alcohol supplements which can be given from the hospitals if this can be possible.
• If it is acute cirrhosis, the patient should stop taking alcohol. If it is chronic cirrhosis, the patient should not stop taking alcohol since the condition needs alcohol dependency,
• Stop taking cigarette and other hallucinogen drugs

Students on the musculoskeletal system:

• The skeletal muscles help us to move from one place to another either seeking food or mates.
• Bones are important because they give shape to the body, without which our body would fall down.
• Skeletal muscles tends to stick to the bone
• The musculoskeletal system consists of:

  • Fibrous

Indications for blood transfusion:

• Cross-matching
• Other people refuse to be transfused
• Heavy breeding
